Cold Spring School in Montecito is repeatedly recognized as one of the top public elementary schools in California. We attribute this to empowering excellent teachers with the resources they need to continue their whole-child teaching approach, an actively involved and supportive parent community, and to the Cold Spring School Foundation’s support of vital programs that are not funded by the national, state and local governments. 

STEAM—ART—MUSIC—LIBRARY—PHYSICAL EDUCATION—OUTDOOR EDUCATION

Over the past 2 decades these programs have proven to provide a strong and positive addition to the educational experience for all children, regardless of their learning styles.  The Cold Spring Foundation’s priority is to ensure these programs continue so as to ensure all children in this year and future years benefit from a stellar educational experience.  In addition to ensuring the programs are funded, our school is currently undergoing a Classroom Expansion Project to ensure we have quality space for these programs in addition to more general classroom space as our population grows.
